1. Úvod

Thank you for choosing the Cecotec BigDry 3000 Silent Electric Dehumidifier. This appliance is designed to effectively reduce humidity levels in your environment, preventing issues caused by excess moisture, and also features an air purification system. Please read this manual carefully before operating the device to ensure proper use, maintenance, and safety.

2. Dôležité bezpečnostné pokyny

Pri používaní elektrických spotrebičov vždy dodržiavajte základné bezpečnostné opatrenia, aby ste znížili riziko požiaru, úrazu elektrickým prúdom a zranenia.

• Pred použitím spotrebiča si prečítajte všetky pokyny.

• Prívod vzduchu: Located on the sides, where humid air is drawn in.
• Výstup vzduchu: Located on the top, where dehumidified and purified air is expelled.
• Ovládací panel: Touch-sensitive panel on the top for operating the unit.

5. Nastavenie

1. Rozbalenie: Opatrne vyberte odvlhčovač z obalu. Obal si uschovajte pre neskoršie skladovanie alebo prepravu.
2. umiestnenie: Place the dehumidifier on a flat, stable surface in the desired room. Ensure there is at least 20 cm of clear space around all sides of the unit for proper airflow. Avoid placing it near heat sources or in direct sunlight.
3. Filter Installation/Check: Before first use, ensure all filters (pre-filter, active carbon, high-efficiency) are correctly installed in their designated slots. Refer to Figure 4.3 for filter location.

6. Návod na obsluhu

The Cecotec BigDry 3000 features a touch control panel for easy operation.

6.1 Zapnutie/vypnutie

• Na otočenie jednotky ON, touch the Power button on the control panel. The unit will start operating in its default mode.
• Na otočenie jednotky VYPNUTÉ, znova sa dotknite tlačidla napájania.

6.2 Nastavenie rýchlosti ventilátora

The dehumidifier offers 3 fan speeds: Low, Medium, and High. Adjust the speed according to your needs and desired dehumidification rate.

• Touch the Speed button on the control panel to cycle through the available speeds.
• The corresponding indicator light on the panel will show the selected speed.

6.3 Air Purification Function

The unit continuously purifies the air through its 3-stage filtration system while operating.

6.4 Full Tank Indicator

• When the water tank is full, the "Full Tank" indicator light on the control panel will illuminate, and the unit will automatically stop operating to prevent overflow.
• Empty the water tank as described in the Maintenance section to resume operation.

7. Údržba

Regular maintenance ensures optimal performance and extends the lifespan of your dehumidifier. Always unplug the unit before cleaning or performing any maintenance.

7.1 Vyprázdnenie nádrže na vodu

1. When the "Full Tank" indicator lights up, gently pull out the water tank from the bottom of the unit.
2. Opatrne preneste nádrž k drezu alebo odtoku a vylejte nahromadenú vodu.
3. Rinse the tank with clean water if necessary and wipe it dry.
4. Slide the empty water tank back into the unit until it clicks into place. The unit will resume operation automatically.

7.2 Čistenie exteriéru jednotky

• Vonkajšiu časť odvlhčovača utrite mäkkou, damp plátno.
• Nepoužívajte abrazívne čistiace prostriedky, rozpúšťadlá ani agresívne chemikálie, pretože by mohli poškodiť povrch.

7.3 Čistenie a výmena filtra

The dehumidifier uses a multi-stage filtration system. Regular cleaning of the pre-filter and periodic replacement of the active carbon and high-efficiency filters are recommended.

1. Locate the filter access panel on the side of the unit (refer to Figure 4.3).
2. Gently open the panel and remove the filters.
3. Predfilter: This filter can be cleaned with a vacuum cleaner or rinsed with water. Ensure it is completely dry before reinserting.
4. Active Carbon Filter & High-Efficiency Filter: These filters are not washable and should be replaced periodically (e.g., every 6-12 months, depending on usage and air quality). Contact Cecotec customer support for replacement filters.
5. Reinsert the filters in the correct order and close the access panel securely.
