The MEDTECH BP12 is a fully automatic portable digital blood pressure monitor designed for accurate and convenient home use. It incorporates Smart MDD Technology for precise measurements and features a large display for easy readability. This device is clinically validated and comes with an adjustable cuff suitable for arm sizes from 22-42cm.

4. Nastavenie
4.1 Napájanie zariadenia
The MEDTECH BP12 can be powered using either AA batteries or the included USB Type-C cable.
- Používanie batérií: Open the battery compartment on the back of the monitor. Insert 4 AA batteries, ensuring correct polarity (+/-). Close the compartment securely.
- Používanie USB-C: Connect the provided USB Type-C cable to the USB-C port on the side of the monitor and plug the other end into a compatible power source (e.g., wall adapter, computer, power bank).
4.2 Connecting the Arm Cuff
Insert the air tube connector from the arm cuff firmly into the air jack on the side of the blood pressure monitor unit.

4.3 Removing Screen Protector
For optimal display clarity, gently peel off and remove the screen protector film from the monitor's display before first use.

5. Návod na obsluhu
5.1 Pred meraním
- Pred meraním odpočívajte aspoň 5 minút.
- Avoid eating, drinking alcohol, smoking, or exercising for 30 minutes prior to measurement.
- Uistite sa, že teplota v miestnosti je príjemná.
- Posaďte sa do pohodlnej polohy s opretým chrbtom a chodidlami na podlahe.
- Položte si ruku na rovný povrch tak, aby manžeta bola vo výške srdca.
5.2 Nasadenie manžety na ruku
- Slide your arm through the cuff loop. The bottom edge of the cuff should be approximately 2-3 cm (about two fingers' width) above your elbow joint.
- Ensure the air tube is positioned on the inside of your arm, aligned with your middle finger.
- Wrap the cuff snugly around your upper arm, securing it with the Velcro closure. It should be tight enough that you can barely insert two fingers between the cuff and your arm.

5.3 Meranie
- Keď je manžeta správne nasadená a ste v uvoľnenej polohe, stlačte START/STOP tlačidlo.
- Manžeta sa automaticky nafúkne. Počas merania zostaňte nehybní a tichí.
- After inflation, the cuff will slowly deflate, and your systolic pressure, diastolic pressure, and pulse rate will be displayed on the screen.
- Meranie sa automaticky uloží do pamäte zariadenia.
- Ak chcete zariadenie vypnúť, stlačte tlačidlo START/STOP button again, or it will automatically shut off after a period of inactivity.
5.4 Using Memory Function
The device can store up to 90 readings for two users. To access stored readings:
- Stlačte tlačidlo MEM tlačidlo na view najnovšie čítanie.
- Stlačte tlačidlo MEM button repeatedly to scroll through older readings.
- To switch between User 1 and User 2 memory, press the SET button while in memory mode.
6. Údržba
- Čistenie: Utrite monitor a manžetu mäkkou, suchou handričkou. V prípade potreby použite mierneamp handričkou s jemným mydlom a potom utrite dosucha. Nepoužívajte abrazívne čistiace prostriedky ani zariadenie neponárajte do vody.
- Ukladací priestor: Store the device in its storage bag in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight, extreme temperatures, and humidity.
- Výmena batérie: Replace all 4 AA batteries when the low battery indicator appears on the display. Remove batteries if the device will not be used for an extended period.
- Starostlivosť o manžetu: Ensure the cuff is clean and free from debris. Do not fold the air tube sharply.
