2. Inštalácia

Follow these steps to properly install your Insoma Water Timer.

1. Inštalácia batérie:
   • Nájdite priehradku na batérie na zadnej strane časovača.
   • Open the compartment and insert two (2) AA 1.5V Alkaline batteries (not included), ensuring correct polarity (+/-).
   • Close the battery compartment securely to maintain the waterproof seal. The timer is designed to run for over 6 months on a fresh set of batteries.

The Insoma Water Timer offers flexible programming options to suit various watering needs.

3.1 Nastavenie aktuálneho času

Before programming, ensure the current time is set accurately.

1. Press the 'SET OK' button to enter the setting mode.
2. Na nastavenie hodiny a minúty použite tlačidlá „+“ a „-“.
3. Press 'SET OK' to confirm each setting and move to the next.
4. Press 'ESC MANUAL' to exit the setting mode.

3.2 Automatic Watering (Cycle Mode)

Program your timer for automatic, scheduled watering.

1. Nastaviť čas začiatku:
   • Press 'SET OK' until 'START TIME' flashes on the display.
   • Use '+' and '-' to set your desired watering start time.
   • Press 'SET OK' to confirm.
2. Nastavenie trvania zavlažovania:
   • When 'WATERING DURATION' flashes, use '+' and '-' to set the length of each watering cycle (1 to 360 minutes).
   • Press 'SET OK' to confirm.
3. Nastavenie frekvencie zavlažovania:
   • When 'WATERING FREQUENCY' flashes, use '+' and '-' to choose how often watering occurs. You can select from every 1 to 23 hours, or every 1 to 15 days.
   • Press 'SET OK' to confirm.
4. Press 'ESC MANUAL' to save settings and exit programming. The timer will now operate according to your schedule.

1. Press the 'ESC MANUAL' button once. The display will show 'MANUAL'.
2. Use the '+' and '-' buttons to set the desired manual watering duration (1 to 360 minutes).
3. Press 'SET OK' to start manual watering. The timer will run for the set duration and then return to its automatic schedule.
4. To stop manual watering prematurely, press 'ESC MANUAL' again.

3.4 Rain Delay Mode

Pause your watering schedule during rainy periods to prevent overwatering and conserve water.

1. In normal operating mode, press and hold the '+' button for 3 seconds. The display will show 'DELAY' and a number of days.
2. Use the '+' and '-' buttons to select the desired delay duration (1 to 15 days).
3. Press 'SET OK' to confirm the rain delay. The timer will pause for the selected period and automatically resume its programmed schedule afterward.
4. To cancel rain delay prematurely, press and hold the '+' button again for 3 seconds.

Activate the Child Lock to prevent accidental changes to your watering program.

1. To activate Child Lock, press and hold the '-' button for 5 seconds until a lock icon appears on the screen.
2. To deactivate Child Lock, press and hold the '-' button again for 5 seconds until the lock icon disappears.

4. Údržba

Proper maintenance ensures the longevity and optimal performance of your water timer.

• Čistenie: Periodically clean the metal filter located in the inlet to prevent blockages. Remove the timer from the faucet, take out the filter, rinse it under running water, and reinsert it.
• Výmena batérie: Replace batteries when the low battery indicator appears on the LCD screen. Always use new AA 1.5V Alkaline batteries.
• Zimné uskladnenie: Before the first frost, disconnect the water timer from the faucet and hose. Drain any remaining water from the unit. Store the timer indoors in a dry, frost-free location. Remove batteries if storing for extended periods.
