Connect the controller to the PS4 console using a certified micro-USB cable. Press the PS button in the middle of the controller to turn it on, and the device will pair automatically. You can then disconnect the cable to play wirelessly.
Turn off your PlayStation console. Locate the small reset button inside the tiny hole on the back of the controller near the L2 shoulder button.
